Worthy of Investigation: Esoteric Truth in Plain Sight

Recently, I was excited to divulge some exciting discoveries with a friend. The discoveries specifically are pertaining to the “Christ within,” and truth in myth (Santa Claus). After having been mulling this over long enough, I decided it too important of a revelation to withhold from other inquiring minds. He was initially put off by certain terms and numbers, such as ‘33,’ made popular as of late by freemasonic “exposés,” painting an evil picture around deeper esoteric truth. I decided to share my reply to his mixed feelings here in hopes that it might be that single bread crumb needed for the next leap. Should it resonate with you, reader, I am made glad.

Reply:

I completely relate with the feeling you’re describing… and it’s wise on your part to push past the initial feeling for the sake of authentic seeking, since we have been so conditioned for so long in opposition of ourselves and, thereby, the truth itself. In other words, I think we’ve been conditioned against genuinely good and beautiful news.

I’ll go into a little detail and if I don’t scare you away you let me know! We haven’t spoken much in a while and the journey moves quick these days….
It was my same sentiment, too, an initial discomfort with numbers such as 33, 666, or what have you. With some time attempting to grasp numerology and revisiting geometric principles with new eyes, these fears have turned to laughter. Laughter, because for so long I was mentally blocked from grasping at such simple (yet sophisticated), in-your-face, transcending reason due to inherited ‘fear of the dark,’ or better put, ‘fear of the unknown.’

Interjection: perhaps this appropriates the muse of Heraclitus…

“Dogs bark at what they do not know.”

Heraclitus

Now, with some time at it, with some new understanding, my sense of hope is restored (but, to be honest, still working on joy).

Now, I have to ask: Can a number be inherently evil? What’s more evil, a 6 or a 7? What about 8 and 9? Their interconnectedness declares each one’s unique necessity. 0-9 encodes all of creation, transcending all language and culture. Are numbers merely quantities or are they also principles? The answer, as I have only recently learned, is “both.” Each number 0-9 is a symbol to express a principle, nothing less. Principles are manifested on many levels, for example, 2 is a principle of balance: man/woman, light/dark… you have two legs – for balance. One balances the other. Moving to 3, a principle of strength – triunity (or trinity [I know, ew, right?])… a tripod, a truss, 3-strand rope… we intuitively know these principles to be true, propagated as patterns through all levels of manifestation.

For example, 666, that famous number of the beast from the book of Revelation, associates with the isosceles triangle, with three angles at 60 degrees. In numerology, this characteristic can be represented by three sixes, thus 666. But why – what is the significance of the triangle? The bible is littered with not only numerology, but many fields of study, including alchemy (concepts of elements: water, earth, air, fire, etc). In alchemy, water (or otherwise the concept of man/flesh/beast) is symbolized by the downward pointing triangle (angles @ 606060 for a total of 180 degrees). Its opposite, fire (spirit), is symbolized by the upward pointing triangle (another 180 degrees). So, the two triangles intersecting represents fire and water (or better understood, spirit and flesh) for a total of 360 degrees – the whole (where the word holy comes from). The number of the beast is 666 because it represents flesh without spirit. Or half.

…In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2Male and female created he them…

From Genesis 5: 1-2 KJV

This, to my understanding, is where the concept of duality comes from. From one came two, equal and opposite. Heaven and earth, light and dark… And so all things here have their opposite, just as is blatantly noticeable in our bodies themselves, with opposing sides and a center column (33 vertibrae). Sun, moon; light, dark etc. From a religious viewpoint: If 33 was inherently an evil number, why would our creator use it in the design of such a sacred thing?

33, in numerology adapted to geometric principles, is two triangles (3&3). TRIangle, of course is the rudimentary geometric form of 3. Within the vesica picis, the foundation of all of geometry itself, two triangles emerge: one pointing up, one pointing down. This follows the pattern of “as above, so below…” In the past, I always associated that phrase with evil freemasonic agendas, but its intent is quite the contrary. It is simply describing the law of correspondence that all things must obey.

It might seem trivial to study geometry to understand big picture concepts, but for me it has been a baseline means to recognize patterns that repeat through all levels of creation. Geometry, after all, is not the invention of man, yet it is embedded beautifully and – dare I say – perfectly in our design.

We start off questioning why they lie and then, as you know, each step in our journey deepens our understanding. Sometimes we go astray for a while but an earnest seeker is never completely without mercy, it seems. Time and fruits will tell… but in the meantime I can’t hold back my excitement – I’ve been shown through the hard work others that much depth of wisdom has been concealed in myth.

Such child’s play as ‘Santa Claus’ is a prime modern example of truth in plain sight. Did Christianity’s fear of idols “throw out the baby with the bath water” some time ago? Allegories and symbols used to embody deeply scientific concepts from ancient wisdom is a sensible practice, given that the public at large has a bad reputation of destroying sacred things… but this still seems to have worked out to the demise of the West and the world, now teaching vanity and taking allegories as literal idols… the skeptic in me thinks it was probably for power over the common mind.

Studying our language etymology has also been a fantastic study for me this past year, revealing rooted meaning in words I never would have otherwise considered (using Etymonline). Santa is Spanish for “saint,” as in “Old Saint Nick.” Saint literally means holy and comes from Latin ‘sanctus,’ which shares the same root as “sacred,” and thereby “consecrated.” Claus is from Old English ‘cloister,’ from Latin ‘CLAUStrum,’ which means “enclosure.” Thus, Santa Claus literally means “Holy Enclosure” or “Sacred Enclosure.” The CLAUStrum in the brain itself is said to be the ‘seat of consciousness’ even by modern (flawed) science.

End

For me, this marks the beginning of a new chapter: uncovering deeper truths hidden in plain sight.

Sacred Science Concealed and Revealed in Geography and Biology – Jesus Christ

I felt implored to publish this information as it deepens one’s understanding of Jesus’ life and brings to light the simple reason for the lack of scholarly harmony surrounding the topic.

Graphic credit: Santos Bonacci, https://universaltruthschool.com
Graphic credit: Santos Bonacci, https://universaltruthschool.com

There is some debate of whether Jesus’ life is purely allegorical, or if he was a physical manifestation of this transcending pattern – physical (external), biological (internal), spiritual (above), geographical (below)… as above, so below; as within, so without (law of correspondence). I’m inclined to suspect that it’s the latter – a pattern that has manifested on many levels, as the true fixed and firm principles always seem to correlate with greater and lesser patterns.

The cross at the centre of duality. Two TRIangles (33) within the birthing canal, corresponding with the 33 vertebrae (within). The triangles pointing down and up, exemplifying the descent and return – descension and ascension.

Please comment, share, elaborate as I hope to delve further into this study.

Remember Who You Are

It brings no question to mind when the bell rings and the students return to their seats.

Does it make anyone uneasy when the light turns red and the traffic stops?

Why should it surprise us when the alarm goes off and the masses await instruction?

Have we forgotten who we are?

There is a natural order proclaiming, in all of its beauty and wonder, who we are. And this natural order has its reflections – the illusions by which we’ve suckled ourselves to adulthood. They are but a reflection of the fixed and firm. They are an inversion of what is. Again, we learn to find the path between.

Pattern & Matter, Paternal & Maternal

Disclaimer: This post is more a compilation of thought fragments than it is a comprehensive writing.

Father & Mother, Line and Circle, Sun and Moon, Fire and Water

Adam and Eve, Odd and Even, Day and Night, Hot and Cold, Positive and Negative

Principles…

Where one is split into two. Splitting of the Adam | atom. The EVEning. To dice, cut. One die, two dies or dice. The 6-sided die, the cube, unfolding into the cross, the 6th day of creation: the crossing of man.

The ETYM-ology (ATOM-ology) declares it.

MAT & PAT relate to MATernal and PATernal. PATtern in MATter (Geometry) propagates through the micro and macroscopic here in this MATerial place we call Mother Earth. Within and without, above and below (the law of correspondence).

Geometric forms emerge from this divine language. DIV-ine, to be both divisible and indivisible. One and none. That is to say, “one and not one.” The sum of the parts is one, but the whole is innumerable, in-finite.

This is our dualistic nature. NAT-ure, natal – beget at birth. We are all light, both positive and negative. Electromagnetic. We are here to go between polarity. When we do, a beautiful thing happens. The eclipse declares it. The newborn child reveals the pattern by which we make our journey of spiritual rebirth.

This life of strife, between opposites, between fire and water, between right and left is the place of new birth. The womb of new beginnings. Between Father Time (pattern, cycle, spirit) and Mother Nature (matter, material, physical).

All things here are EVEned (odd, even | Adam, Eve), doubled, mirrored. All things here are dual, split.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

GENESIS 1:27, KJV

Equally opposite.

This pattern, perhaps most importantly of all, occurs not only outside, externally, but also inside of us. This, to my understanding, is where our true journey actually begins. Inside, within.

As within, so without. The body reveals it.

Mirrored. The body and its members. As one with its dual nature of two opposing sides. Equal, opposite.

The mind is no different as we learn to reconcile the light and dark, the joy and pain.

Inside, we toil with health and disease, strength and weakness. We are here to learn not to shun one and favour the other, but (perhaps) to understand the necessity of both.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2 CORINTHIANS 12:10

How can we be weak and strong at the same moment? Purely on a physical plane, that sounds like a contradiction – until we consider our dual nature. Spirit and flesh, mental faculties (mind) and body, positive and negative.

Walking, we lead with one foot and follow with the other. We intuitively know it must be this way. One leads, one follows: switching feet in order to get somewhere.

If we seek spiritual strength, then, we know physical strife is necessary (and dare I say even desirable).

What use is a seed planted but no fruit born of it? What good is a message sent with no one to receive it?

When we realize we’ve been fighting ourselves all this time, maybe reconciliation can finally begin!

The New Normal?

For a lot of people, 2020 was a year marking the beginning of a new chapter, seeking out the truth like never before. It may have started with a deep sense of fear and a determination to prepare physically for what seemed like a nightmare. Since that time, many of us have begun to realize the greater pattern at play and have also begun the process of shedding our old skin, birthing new understanding, bearing new fruit.

As we have heard: history repeats itself. This isn’t to diminish the significance of the “now,” but it is merely the observance of a semblance of cycles. Many will see its repetitive nature, despite its varying magnitudes of intensity.

As I’ve come to learn, science builds upon itself. Simple (yet sophisticated) studies of geometric principles carry through to the more complex studies of geology, biology, sociology, psychology etc.

So, what is this “new normal?”

I suggest it is simply another level of an unfolding of geometric patterns.

The Mason’s square and compass. Might this symbol also represent the ‘right ruler’ or ‘rightful rule‘ derived from the moral ‘compass?’

The Builder’s tools and their social significance

Square

Squareness is associated with rightness, just as the carpenter’s square serves as a right angle.

Square (4) establishes order: It’s time to square up. Fair and square. Back to square one. A square meal. Look him square in the face.

Gavel

The gavel makes the sound. Under rightful rule, there is “moral soundness and conformity to the truth.” justice (n.)

Rule

The rule is the straight edge and for measuring. The ruler implements measures and rules.

Compass

One studying geometric principles will know: the rule is directed by the compass, just as in navigation one’s journey is directed by a compass. The moral compass, imagined in the mind, directs the rightful ruler (example: seed of life, flower of life, all geometric forms emerge).

In geometry, the circle, created by the compass, represents the beginning and the end – it is the roadmap for all other geometric patterns formed by the rule. For example, the vesica picis, (made by two circles of same radius intersecting at their midpoints) opens up new intersecting points that can be used to perfectly create every form – from the line (2), to the triangle (3), to the square (4)… all the way to the nonagon (9).

Yes, the compass has started it all. The compass is the beginning and the end. It is one (single center point) and it is none (O).

Beginning and end are common in the circumference of a circle.

Heraclitus, Greek philosopher (from around 500 BC)
Sourced from the book “Heraclitus: Translation and Analysis” by Dennis Sweet

The circle represents ‘within,’ as it encompasses all. The circle is created from a center point and a set radius.
It all starts within. As within, so without. The circle may also be used as a symbol of the feminine, of the womb, of the place where new beginnings take place. It can be an empty hole and the whole of one.

The geometric root of the word ‘normal.’

Etymology of “normal”
normal (adj.)

“c. 1500, “typical, common;” 1640s, in geometry, “standing at a right angle, perpendicular,” from Late Latin normalis “in conformity with rule, normal,” in classical Latin “made according to a carpenter’s square,” from norma “rule, pattern,” literally “carpenter’s square,” a word of unknown origin (see norm). Meaning “conforming to common standards or established order or usage, regular, usual” is attested from 1828…”

The word ‘normal’ is actually derived from geometric principles: right angles, straight edges. It seems that in society at large, the “right rule” is placed within the ‘compass’ of morality already established.

To say “the new normal” is to say “the new rule”.

We imagine vanity, our rulers give us vanity.

Symmetric Duality (pt.2)

Expanding on thoughts from part 1: Symmetric Duality (pt.1)

The truth is hidden in plain sight.

Torus | Taurus | Aura | Torah

The aura that is all around us, flowing through us and in everything.

The Torah (also known as the first five books of the bible | bi-bull) was spelled out with letters derived from the torus (as Stan Tenen’s work describes well, mentioned previously). Are they, perhaps, the same thing? Would not the truth be universal and free of doctrinal requisition?

Torah | Aura | Toral | Aural | Oral

au·ral
/ˈôrəl/

adjective
relating to the ear or the sense of hearing.

o·ral
/ˈôrəl/

adjective
by word of mouth; spoken rather than written.

It might not be hard to believe at this point that our aura, which I imagine as our own individual torus field, is very much connected to what we hear and, in turn, what we say… aural | oral – from aura.

In fact, the ripple effect of the very words we speak seems infinite. What we say and do does matter tremendously!

The torus, represented by the taurus bull (a symBULL as pointed out by SynchroMiss). Taurus bull, a symbol of a strong force. There are opposing forces – opposites on either side – and between them a center.

Center | Centaur

centaur (n.)
monster in Greek mythology, with the head, torso, and arms of a man joined to the body of a horse, late 14c., from Latin centaurus
derived from Greek kentauros.

…Centaurus?

Battle of Centaurs and “Wild Beasts” – pulled from Wikipedia.

Cen-taurus

According to Wikipedia… “The Greek word kentauros is generally regarded as being of obscure origin. The etymology from ken + tauros, ‘piercing bull‘, was a euhemerist suggestion in Palaephatus’ rationalizing text on Greek mythology, On Incredible Tales, which included mounted archers from a village called Nephele eliminating a herd of bulls that were the scourge of Ixion’s kingdom. Another possible related etymology can be “bull-slayer“.”

< Thoughts on this: The ‘piercing bull’ idea brings with it a notion of breaking free of the torus. The tale of Parzival and the holy grail seems to be about this as well. Parzival etymology breaks down to ‘pierce, breakthrough the valley.’ The valley is ” the river-land between two ranges of hills (vale etymology).” Is this also the narrow path?

According to Greek mythology, the centaur slays the bulls. The centaur pierces the bull.

Referring once again to the crossbow analogy:

CROSSBOW: Opposing forces of the crossbow work together. The center force is the ‘bull slayer’ that utilizes and overcomes the two opposing forces. The center|centaur consumes both bulls (forces), bringing them into unity.

I wonder if the hidden meaning of “Centaurus” (cen-taurus) implies the culmination at the center of a torus. As both opposing forces of the torus are ultimately governed by 0-9, as all things are encoded using these numbers (ten digits each side, 10×10, or 1 and 9 9, as in one hundred). Cent is known to mean ‘hundred,’ such as cent in French and the one cent coin (1/100 of a dollar). The term ‘percent’ is to represent a fraction of one hundred. And in line with recent revelations, cent brings us back to scent, nose, gnosis.

Cent | Scent | Nose | Knows | Gnosis

Cen-Taurus…

Etymology (Wiktionary.org):
From Old Portuguese cen, from cento, from Latin centum…

Numeral:
cen – one hundred; 100

Usage notes: The indeclinable form cen means “one hundred” only…

Does it seem a little bit like cent in this theme is the unity of opposites? The centaur to the taurus? The bull-slayer? The magnitude of left multiplied (or amplified) by the magnitude of right? 10×10, or one more than 99 (9 and 9)?

Perhaps that’s a reach on my part… but it does get increasingly difficult to attribute anything to coincidence these days. This reasoning does bring us back to the importance of the straight and narrow path, which leads to life. Not to the left, not the the right but straight through the center. All of these cross symbols do seem to represent life, as best as I currently understand them:

  • Ankh appears be unity of opposites. To be specific, it is in the similitude of a female womb, with a left leg and right leg spread apart (duality) and the male phallus in the center, the narrow path leading to life.
  • Greek Cross (our plus sign) is, of course, used in our mathematical expressions to represent increase, addition…
  • Saltire (our multiplication sign) is ironically (or not) used again in our mathematical expressions to signify multiplicity. To “be fruitful and multiply” is the foundational function of life.
  • Christian Cross is a slight deviation from the Greek cross which appears to take on more the form of man, mapped out perfectly by a man on the cross, with the legs below and the left/right arm on either side. This, again, as with all cross symbols, appears to signify the unity of opposites leading to life. The path between fire and water.

Contrarywise, the ‘equal’ sign (=) consists of two parallel lines, never crossing. This is because it does not represent equal AND opposite, but ONLY equal. To be ONLY equal is, really, in my humble opinion, to be nothing at all. Everything in existence must have its opposite, as is clearly evident with any amount of honest reflection. The light must be contrast by the shadows. For example, to say you are a man is to say nothing at all, unless there exists a woman also – an opposite. The opposite must exist for either to exist.

A brief Interjection: Society today is offering us a false equality not properly balanced by opposites. This is inevitably leading to pure chaos, breakdown and destruction of life itself.

Yes, the balanced scale does represent equality of opposites, however, it is often misused as an illustration of equality today. The fundamentally flawed equality of today should be properly illustrated by having the man and woman both on one side of the scale, leaving the opposite side empty.

= + x

Interestingly, the difference between ‘+’ and ‘x’ is about 45 degrees… or 9. But that’s getting a little too abstract for even me.

If there should be life (“good”), there should also be death (“evil”). But the marrying of the two can’t be described by either, just as violet is unlike red and blue. The union is indescribable by opposing terms. Just as the crossbow uses left and right forces to hit its target, we in the same manner might transcend this physical plane. I’m not by any means implying partiality (a little bit good and a little bit bad), but a completely extraordinary state more in line with perfection if there ever was one.

A final thought on unity of opposites…

A cross is all about going across. It is our map to navigating this torus realm, the apple of the knowledge of opposites. Going across (a-cross) the gnosis (nose’s) bridge to real eyes (realize) and behold the Just One.

Just.

One.

Symmetric Duality (pt.1)

This post expands on: Where are we? and The Binary Illusion of Choice: The Left and Right Paradigm Hiding Truth in Plain Sight

What do you think? Is it a coincidence?

A typical torus field – visualization of outer and inner surfaces

Fictitious “Van Allen Radiation Belts” around spherical earth.

Yes, there is a curve! …but it’s not the one you’re looking for. The truth is always there… waiting… hiding in plain sight. But even the truth has its opposite “lying” in plain sight.

Before we get into the torus field, I want to lay some groundwork (for my own method of thinking)…

As I’ve written before, we are ‘between fire and water.’ That is symbolic for this temporary place we now sojourn, as it is one of opposites. As I understand it, it is dual in nature. It is a symmetrical duality. We intuitively know fire and water to be opposites: symbolic opposing forces that, when combined, create steam. Steam/air symbolizes ascension and spirit – this is the straight and narrow path. Let me illustrate:

CROSSBOW: Opposing forces of the crossbow work together

I recently acquired a crossbow (yet to actually try the thing out) and as I was pondering it struck me… The opposing forces and the straight and narrow path are right there in the design of the crossbow. It can be understood that this symmetric duality is out of absolute necessity when observing how it works. The crossbow utilizes the principle of the cross (✞), leveraging an opposing force on both the left and on the right, propelling the arrow forward. Both forces must be equal and opposite. I would say this reasoning could shed new light on the meaning of the cross symbol itself. Wasn’t this the whole idea of Jesus’ life – to show the way, the truth and the life? …the symbol of the archetypal man awakening who was crucified on a cross …?

And let’s not forget that scene in “The Truman Show” where Jim Carrey (J.C. – as in Jesus Christ) makes his exit.

Final scene in “The Truman Show,” where JC presents the symbol of the cross before exiting the false reality.

It is at the end when Truman ascends the stairs and it is also at the end when his opposite (Sylvia) descends to meet him. I suspect this is symbolic of the union of opposites. Male, female and, perhaps, conscious and subconscious – or lower nature and spirit.

Even more strangely (but now seemingly less so), the calculated values of the two characters’ names (Truman and Sylvia) are so close that, in all cases, their value difference is just one. 1. When one is taken from the other (or vice versa) the result is 1.

Is the cross our universal exit symbol? Or, is it a symbol for transcendence? That is to say, a symbol for boundless, eternal? I will be sure to seriously ponder on this one… Speaking of ‘serious,’ wasn’t it Sirius that caught Truman’s attention before getting into his Ford “Taurus?”

The Torus

Just as “a whirlpool is a body of rotating water produced by opposing currents…

While there are technical definitions of what a torus is, I will refrain from regurgitating them here. The truth in regards to the torus is intuitive and can be comprehended simply as a principle. A principle by which all things in this realm seem to exist.

The torus field depicted above shows how opposing forces ultimately work together. It shows how they are, indeed, connected. But, perhaps most importantly, it shows a symmetric duality culminating at a center point, while taking on the overall shape of a sphere or donut.

Similarly, we are dualistic beings. We are wired that way, with a left and a right hemisphere. We have 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 arms, 2 legs… The body is a perfect symmetry – each side a mirror opposite. As we walk… left, right, left, right… But within our being, we do have a center.

Words spoken are literally spells cast, as they are ‘spelled’ out from the torus itself.

As if to ‘cast’ a shadow, a simple reorientation of the torus field vortex reveals every letter of the Hebrew alphabet (source: meru.org)

The cross-section of the torus reveals a vortex pattern, which is actually a 3-dimensional spiral pattern.

A reorientation of the vortex produces the letters that make up the words we speak…

Dive into this: http://www.goldenmean.info/dnaring/FIRSTBK.PDF

The torus is, literally, the apple we all bit into.

A new way of understanding the symbolism behind the famous apple from the tree of knowledge of ‘good and evil.’

The apple is a symbol of the torus.

It’s not hard to understand when looking at these forms derived from the torus why the Taurus bull was named as such. The torus/taurus, with its opposing forces…

Opposing Taurus bulls, mirror opposites.

But what is between them? Ah, of course… the sun/son. A symbol for the truth – in plain sight: not to the right, nor to the left… but straight down the middle… the narrow path.

And the high priest answered and said to him, ‘I adjure you by the living God that you tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.’ Jesus said to him, ‘It is as you said’.

Mathew 26:63,64

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:6

The Binary Illusion of Choice: The Left and Right Paradigm Hiding Truth in Plain Sight

To expand on a previous post

I’d like to take a moment to appreciate this scene from “The Matrix” where Neo (anagram for ‘One’ – as in ‘Anointed One’) is faced with two choices offered to him by Morpheus (Greek for “God of sleep and dreams,” according to Wikipedia). Many have speculated on the deeper meaning of this scene and now I’d like to offer my take on it for you to mull over. Here’s a snippet from that scene for context:

Morpheus: The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison for your mind. Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself. This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. [opens hand, unveiling blue pill] You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. [opens hand, unveiling red pill] You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. [Speaks before Neo takes the Red Pill] Remember: all I’m offering is the truth. Nothing more.
[Neo takes the red pill after a few moments of thought, and washes it down with a mouthful of water from the glass next to him]
Morpheus: Follow me.

It strikes me as an obvious portrayal of our dream-state reality where, as I’ve alluded to previously, we’re constantly offered two choices (opposing forces): you’re either left or right, pro this or anti that, blue or red. If you follow the Matrix trilogy, you’ll know there is question as to whether or not Neo ever does actually exit the simulation at all, or if he has been fooled by the very system he wishes to be free from… Perpetually trapped in this left/right simulation paradigm (sleep state), spiraling only downward into a deeper sleep – just as water spirals in a whirlpool.

“A whirlpool is a body of rotating water produced by opposing currents…

Wikipedia – Whirlpool

Note that regardless of which pill he chooses, red or blue, he would still be taking it with a glass of water. Water, symbolic of this physical/material, surface-level realm (but let’s explore that more in another post).

Morpheus claims to offer ‘knowledge’ and ‘knowing’ of the truth when he says “all I’m offering is the truth.” Morpheus, however, is offering both red and blue pills. Morpheus proceeds to offer a left and right ‘dream-state’ reality, mirrors of each other. Perhaps a case can be made that, when observing the image below, the left/right paradigm is symbolized by the two reflections in his ‘sunglasses’ (there’s somethin’ about those shades). There are two realities, but both a reflection (mirror or opposite) of same. Notice, though, what is between them? There, in front of us hidden in plain sight? Between the two illusions is the nose – a pun for “knows.”

Two illusions, left and right, symbolized by the reflections in Morpheus’ sunglasses.

The path to knowledge (to know, nose/knows/gnosis) and ascending to a higher state is not to the left nor to the right, but through the center. Even the nose itself has a bridge, as if to be symbolic of the ‘narrow path’ in the context of this theme.

The Truman Show: Straight and narrow bridge

Narrow path… Directly between the eyebrows. Brow may also mean the ‘summit of a hill or pass.’

As I like to defer to on this blog, a quote from the hidden book of 2 Esdras:

“…There is a city built and set on a plain, and it is full of all good things; but the entrance to it is narrow and set in a precipitous place, so that there is fire on the right hand and deep water on the left. There is only one path lying between them, that is, between the fire and the water, so that only one person can walk on the path.”

2 Esdras 7:6-8 (Apocrypha/hidden scripture)

This is the “straight and narrow path.” Notice the irony – the city is “set on a plain,” as if to infer the truth is hidden in ‘plain’ sight. It’s also clear that no one can lead you down that path. That is to say, there’s no one you can follow to walk it. The straight and narrow path is illustrated symbolically throughout various texts. Here are a few popular examples:

“Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.”

Proverbs 4:27 – note that here evil is considered to be both left and right (instead of between).

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ”

Mark 1:3

Even Jesus is quoted as saying:

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Mathew 7:13-14
Physical symbol/imagery: Path Between Fire and Water

We are tempered through strife.

49 He answered me and said, “Listen to me, Ezra, and I will instruct you, and will admonish you yet again. 50 For this reason the Most High has made not one world but two. 51 For whereas you have said that the righteous are not many but few, while the ungodly abound, hear the explanation for this.

52 “If you have just a few precious stones, will you add to them lead and clay?”

53 I said, “Lord, how could that be?”

54 And he said to me, “Not only that, but ask the earth and she will tell you; defer to her, and she will declare it to you. 55 Say to her, ‘You produce gold and silver and brass, and also iron and lead and clay; 56 but silver is more abundant than gold, and brass than silver, and iron than brass, and lead than iron, and clay than lead.’ 57 Judge therefore which things are precious and desirable, those that are abundant or those that are rare?”

58 I said, “O sovereign Lord, what is plentiful is of less worth, for what is more rare is more precious.”

59 He answered me and said, “Weigh within yourself what you have thought, for he who has what is hard to get rejoices more than he who has what is plentiful.

What are the stars?

Capella and Sirius observations from earlier this year…

After searching online for genuine imagery of the stars, it is now blatantly clear to me that their true nature is concealed on purpose (by no surprise). I’ve taken an interest in capturing video of these celestial lights and now have some content I’d like to share with other curious observers. For the curious observer, perhaps these short clips will be an encouragement and inspiration to look deeper into what the stars truly are.

All Things Come About by Strife

“Between Fire and Water,” symbolically speaking, is precisely where I think we are (or, for the time being, strive to be) – between both fire and water. Not as a final destination but as a necessary path to follow.

“…There is a city built and set on a plain, and it is full of all good things; but the entrance to it is narrow and set in a precipitous place, so that there is fire on the right hand and deep water on the left. There is only one path lying between them, that is, between the fire and the water, so that only one person can walk on the path.”

2 Esdras 7:6-8

“…between the fire and the water” is symbolic for this narrow path, with opposing forces on either side, that each of us must pass through to be tempered. With an affinity for the truth and being careful not to deviate to the left or to the right, we are spiritually refined through trials. So, adversity is inevitable and we should not fear it. To quote Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher of old, “what opposes unites, and the finest attunement stems from things bearing in opposite directions, and all things come about by strife.” This world’s grand illusion continually offers a left/right paradigm to perpetuate itself, leading many off the narrow path (and few find it) and refining those who persevere between.

The truth is neither left nor right, but that which is between them: The straight path.

I’ve expanded more on the concept of a left/right paradigm here.
