Remember Who You Are

It brings no question to mind when the bell rings and the students return to their seats.

Does it make anyone uneasy when the light turns red and the traffic stops?

Why should it surprise us when the alarm goes off and the masses await instruction?

Have we forgotten who we are?

There is a natural order proclaiming, in all of its beauty and wonder, who we are. And this natural order has its reflections – the illusions by which we’ve suckled ourselves to adulthood. They are but a reflection of the fixed and firm. They are an inversion of what is. Again, we learn to find the path between.
